CORE FOCUS — “DIGITAL DIGNITY”
JRF operates on the principle of Digital Dignity — the belief that every Jamaican deserves the right to be connected, recognized, and included in the digital world.
Our work connects immediate humanitarian relief with long-term digital empowerment:
- Relief today: Connectivity, communication, literacy, and transparent aid delivery.
- Resilience tomorrow: Verified aid tracking, digital identity access, and community education.
Beginning with immediate initial deployment plans in rural communities in Jamaica, the Respect Foundation intends to help by initially providing: 1) access to technology that will enable illiterate farmers to prove their identity and obtain banking so they can build savings, 2) vocational training (including agtech /
sustainable farming) for adult farmers to improve farming yields, and 3) the internet, supporting educational infrastructure, and tutoring programs for school-age children.
